Thanks for visiting us here at SexGeekdom.com. To help get you started, a few common questions about the Sex Geekdom community are addressed below.
What is Sex Geekdom? Sex Geekdom was founded by Kate McCombs as a way to build community among Melbourne-based sex nerds. Now, there are Sex Geekdom events in both Australia and the US. This website is designed to bridge the gap between online and real-life community for sex educators, researchers, and others who might identify as sex geeks.

Want to hang out* with other sex geeks? Join us for one of our #SexGeekdom meetups!
*While sexual liaisons are certainly not forbidden, Sex Geekdom isn’t intended to be a space to meet sexual partners. It’s about sharing ideas with like-minded folks and building a community around sex-positive, intellectual curiosity and the occasional balls joke.
Where do Sex Geekdom Meetups happen? Currently, we have Sex Geekdom gatherings in Melbourne, Sydney, and Los Angeles. Events range from regular after-work Friday drinks, to once-off group outings to sex-related seminars, movies, or festivals. Check out the

MISSION: SEX GEEKDOM
Sex Geekdom’s mission is to create community for sex geeks, both online and in-person. I created Sex Geekdom because I feel happier, more productive, and connected when I regularly interact with other people who are passionate about sexuality, sexual health, and making the world a more sex-positive place.
